Hi,

I reported the bug to the developer a long time ago, and finally he updated the MDL7 exporter to be fully compatible with A8. Not tested yet, just I'm happy to see it, just when I need Fragmotion again, in spite of the "Conitec time" reaction.

Thank you Sivan for info. I never use Fragmotion, is there a mdl7 importer and did works good with animated bone models? I lost a max file for one of my animated model, in which i should add some new animation. Old MED fbx exporters not works good and now i do not know how do this. The last thing i want to do is rigg this model again and make all new animations crazy .

it has a mdl7 importer, but I never tried, only the exporter, what I reported to be buggy. the exporter is mentioned exactly in the announcment, but maybe the importer also touched, the best is to try it:

that pray typing is a bit crazy...

by the way Ultimate Unwrap 3D also has a mdl importer, but no idea about its correctness.

Alleluia... alleluia... No thanks i just do this now, and i'm sure next time i'll save myself from all that typing and i'll buy it laugh . Good news! Seems to importer work perfectly. No deformation and all animations are here. Now the only thing left to see what's next...

Hi,
I forgot to mention a great feature of Fragmotion:
you can create sprite flipbooks automatically from animated characters!
here you can see the simple menu and an end result of my first tests:




the sprite arrangement is customizable, you can create it with or without shadows, position and size data are saved in an xml file.
unfortunately the alpha is saved wrongly, it requires some further works with photoshop/gimp...

Edit: the latter issue is GPU and driver dependent; in my case it was bad with Intel, but fine with ATI; and said to be wrong with some NVidia cards/drivers...
