Hmm. I've noticed that a high vertex count really harms the frame rate which is why that one smaller model in my experiment was rendering much slower. I guess I'm in need of another experiment. What difference will there be for a high vertex model with few faces and a low vertex model with a ton of faces. With just 50 vertices, you could get thousands of faces! Seem weird? It's true!
