Ok, I like this too, its looking good and somehow for me, has elements of consistancy in design enviro and object placement.
Got a mov clip for us to check out?. would like to see and feel handling conditions, FPS and so on.

Hey there,

the 2nd level is completely finished now.
I uploaded a video clip showing the game in motion (1st and 2nd level) and preview on the third level which is work in progress and will be finished next:

Antaris Video Clip
(The video is a 23 MB download. It is a 6 Minutes movie in compressed format i.e. low resolution)

The video soundtrack "Kill the king" is an old song by Rainbow. For copyright reasons it is mixed up with the ingame sound and therefore unusable for distribution.

Here are some screenshots:

Current progress:
All levels are built
2 levels are completely finished and playable, 3rd level is in progress.
7 enemy types included and working,
extra weapons in every level
Trip mines: Some doors and rooms are secured with traps made of trip mines. If the player runs into such mine, his view will turn green and narrow until he finds a medic wall cabinet with some medication.

I will be on holiday now (sun, fun and beach) from tomorrow morning until next sunday, so don't be cross with me if I don't respond to any comments immediately.

Best regards
Rincewind

Dear Frazzle,

thanks.. you're too kind as always. My plane's going tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. so I'll be on the beach by noon tomorrow. Though, and remembering the thunderstorm at Mallorca a few days ago, I am just fixing myself an complete care package with textures, models and stuff and laptop in case of rainy weather.
I really feel good now, because all development obstacles are left behind now. All I have to do is finish the remaining levels - a straight road to go, just a matter of time...I planned to finish the game until christmas this year.. but I am really having fun now and I want to add some more stuff to the game. I know it will not be the perfect game (far from it), but at least I will have made and finished it on my own:-))

I will publish a 3-level demo and a huge model pack from the game for free around christmas.

Thanks and cheers to Belgium

And that is indeed something to be proud of Rincewind, finishing a game at your own is hard, especially when you've set up a certain dead-line
Even if the game isn't perfect, I already know that it will be FUN to play

Cheers

Hallo Exile,

Rincewind
