Hey everybody, here is the next progress update: The first level is now completely finished with all enemies and weapons working just fine: Enemies detect and hunt you, they evade your shots and try to trap you (played about 20 minutes cat and mouse with two hellpriests in a subway level. Enemies get stronger with every level, each level features some additional types of enemies, i.e. the variety and strength of enemies grows with every level. The game starts with three standard weapons. One additional weapon is hidden in each level. These weapons can be taken along into the next level, i.e. the players weapon collection increases with every level. Pickups like armour, ammo and health are mostly hidden in buildings. Every level starts in the briefing room of a drop ship where you get all information on your mission, weapons enemies etc. here are some screenshots of enemies in action:

These trees are in the game because I don't know how to do tree tga's with alpha channels (tried it but it simply was a mess). Maybe I'll take some Loopix trees as a replacement.

Qau level design it's nice but on an overal scale, the average picture you posted is better then the last ones you posted. I guess using better trees may do the trick for 50% already Chees Frazzle

@spike,
thanks for your kind offer. I'll wrap up the models later tonight and send them to you. ICQ keeps crashing my computer as mentioned before, but I'll buy a new one tomorrow, so I might be able to contact you then. You can of course keep the car model and if you need anything else, just send me an email.
Thanks and best regs Rince
