FXCM has recently changed their server protocol. Consequently some FXCM accounts cannot connect to their price server anymore. As to our information, this does not affect open trades and already running sessions, but it affects starting new FXCM sessions.

If you have a problem connecting to the FXCM price server on a new session, please download the current Zorro beta version from https://zorro-project.com/download.php. This version uses the latest FXCM API. You need to install the API by unzipping a bunch of DLLs - details on https://manual.zorro-project.com/fxcm.htm.

FXCM is not in the Broker-list The Account-dropdown lists not the information from the Accounts.csv

Accounts.csv looks like this
Name,Broker,......
Demo,FXCM,........
First,FXCM,......
Second,FXCM,.....

For account lists you'll need Zorro S. But FXCM is definitely included in the beta version. Make sure that you've completely installed the beta with all DLLs.

Beta Version is not an installer.
Now I have copie the key to my (seperate) Beta-Folder
The accountlist works now.
But FXCM ist not in the Broker List. Do you see it on my schreenshot above?

YES I want to stay on Version 1.96. but no connection to Price Server. What can I do?

You can copy the new FXCM plugin over to your old version. But for this you first need to get it running. Maybe some DLL is missing on your PC, or the FXCM API does not support your Windows version. Contact Support.

Thanks jcl. This came on really suddenly... Please confirm:

a) This situation makes the "lifetime" 1.x license immediately worthless, less than 6 months after 2.x, at least for trading with FXCM; and eventually (soon?) for all brokers.

b) The only way to continue trading S is to purchase the S license and install 2.x.

c) 1.96 trades can not be continued by the latest 2.x beta. And since 1.x no longer works, all active trades must from now forward be manually managed.

This is an FXCM issue, not a license issue. Brokers can anytime stop their services or change their protocols - your Zorro license has no influence on that.

New FXCM API does not work anymore with Windows Vista.

It works with Vista, but only when you install a lot of additional system DLLs, which is not really recommended. Better upgrade to Win 7 on that occasion. It's in all regards better than Vista anyway.
