I am using Zorro S 2.30, and trading Z12.x on a demo account from Dukascopy using the vDukascopy-1.5 plugin.


In the manual, I read that "The LOGFILE flag must be set for recording a log. [Test] or [Train] generates a new log file, while [Trade] appends to the log from the previous session.". But I just found that the generated log file "Z12_demo.log" from the previous session is being overwritten by the later session. What I did is as follows:

1. Start "Trade", and the "Z12_demo.log" file is generated in the Log folder
2. Stop the trade by clicking "Stop", and "No" then "Yes".
3. Start "Trade" again, and check the "Z12_demo.log" file.

Also tested Zorro 2.25, and got the same behavior.

Is this normal?

I am pretty sure that that the manual was wrong here, it is the .csv trade list which is appended in trade mode, but not the log. On which page did you read that?

I can confirm that logs are not appended. This will be corrected in the manual.
