Thank you AndrewAMD, yes, I did ask nicely and they asked also nicely many detective questions about who I am and what I do, etc. :-) But indeed, the residency is not a bar for me, so I am considering to change from my current broker.
The customer support is excellent, very fast and straightforward. There are just some displeasing non-trading fees for non-US residents, like international wire withdrawal fee.
