I recently moved over to a Contabo vps from Google and have installed a Darwinex MT4 terminal (in portable mode) and Zorro S 2.35. When I try to trade a strategy using the ZorroMT4.dll I get the following error:
I have looked at this file and the appropriate users have access (Administrator in this case). As well as uninstalled and reinstalled both Zorro and MT4. Any help in resolving this is greatly appreciated. I never ran into this issue with the Google vps.
Hi Simon thanks for getting back to me. I am definitely logged into the correct account in the MT4 terminal and the accounts.csv file for Zorro is using the correct account number. The Zorro EA version is 2.11
Hi Simon. In both cases, on my old google vps and my new contabo vps, mt4sock.sys file exists in both AppData/Local/Temp and AppData/Local/Temp/2. The google vps was running Zorro EA 2.09.
Over the last couple of days I have tried a completely fresh OS install of the vps and using an Oanda MT4 terminal instead of a Darwinex terminal but I still get an Access Denied error to the MT4sock file...
Hi @Jezza96 - I received the same error. I resolved this by making sure that the Zorro EA was attached to the chart of the symbol I wanted to trade first in MT4/5 and then clicked trade in Zorro. Hopefully that helps.
I had the same error. Triple checked the accounts.csv file. Turned out the "1"for live account was in the wrong column. Correcting this solved the issue.
