Hi,

Will Zorro have better backtest performance (speed wise) on Mac Mini (M2 Pro 10 CPU cores ) better than a 44 cores/88 threads Xeon workstation ?

Since M1/M2 is a new architecture, I am interested to find out if this new architecture will improve Zorro backtest in terms of speed. Any comment is welcome. Thanks

Zorro was made for Intel CPU x86/x64 architectures, and we have no reasons to believe it will be ported to other architectures at this time.

The use of a virtual machine will lead to performance loss in most cases. There are plenty of VM performance benchmarks on the web that demonstrate this.
