Weird question, but I've been trying to put environment shaders onto pools of blood. But I can't seem to apply them onto sprites. They work on models and there must be something easy to get this working but I must be missing it. Any ideas?

CameraSpaceReflectionVector won't work on flat surfaces.
Try using CameraSpacePosition instead.

And what's about the invisible parts? I tried this with Steempipes ffp_transenvmap and ffp_maskedenvmap, but it is always the whole square of the sprite, not the expected shape of the alpha channel.

you mask the areas other than the expected shape with 100% alpha (Black 0,0,0) and then it works

Don't understand. What do I have to change? Something within the alphachannel of my sprite? Something in the script?

Yes.
You have to make your env mapping mask the reflection where the alphamap is not visible... if you understand that.
