I just started taking Flash at school and I was wondering if it might be possible/desirable to support Flash components in 3DGS? I figure if we can create interactive Flash components and expose some properties to 3DGS then you can create nice interactive GUI elements. It would also open up the creation process to Flash developers even with no knowledge of the 3DGS SDK. If not Flash maybe the Yahoo widgets or MS gadgets API? Just a random thought ...

There was a Flash plugin at one time. I never used it, so I can't comment on how well it worked, but I know of at least a couple of published games that use Flash for their UI (God of War for one).

I'd recommend an official Conitec plugin, but I fear the legal issues...
