It would be nice if 3DGS could be implemented into webbrowsers so users can have pannable and tourable 3D worlds on their website. Through downloading a plug-in for the browser (IE and Firefox for two common examples), one could embed a 3D world into their webpage so that users can visit the level created and not just pan around, but move around.

For this to work optimally for the internet, the whole package should be compressed. Another publishing option in WED would put the components needed into a single file and compress it. When this file is downloaded, it becomes a dynamic 3D environment on the web one could just play from their browser.

Quick poll:

DirectX-in-Web-As-ActiveX won't be possible. A software renderer will have to be developed and it's pretty tricky.
