Heath Ledger is dead, so TDK will be his farewell it looks like. It appears pills are the culprit. The movie has finished filming, but I don't know how this will affect post-production re-recording of dialogue that can't be heard clearly. He had a 2-year-old daughter.

NOOO, i liked heath ledger, especially in "A Knight's Tales", one of my favorite movies. Poor him :<

The autopsy was inconclusive and no drug residue was found. A $20 bill rolled in such a way that it could be used for snorting drugs was found, but it has been determined that it was not used for this. There were 6 kinds of prescription drugs found and no illegal drugs were found. The drugs were for insomnia, anti-anxiety, antihistamines, etc. Ledger has said in interviews that he suffers from severe insomnia and took a sleeping pill that didn't work, so he took more.

We'll know (maybe) in a couple weeks when the toxology results return. Suicide has been ruled out. Jack Nicholson's response to it was "I warned him."
