I am new here in the forum and I am an absolute beginner referring to gamestudio. I plough throught the exercises.
If I want to allocate a texture to a figure with either a doppel klick via mouse or the menue "Texture - Apply to object" then nothing happens (including with no error message)
I dont know, why, because these are the orders from the excercises.

Thanks you for help!

I presume you are talking about applying a texture in a block geometry in the WED editor. Try to be more precise and write here what are you doing.

I am working with the WED-Editor.
The aim is to create a house.
I have done the following steps:

-)Object - Add Primitive - Misc - House
-)Edit - Hollow Block
-)Loading via text manager the standard wad
-)Select the house
-)Double click the texture or alternative via Texture/Apply to Object

The object doesnt assume the texture.

If you dontīt see the house textured in the 3d view:

a) With 3d view selected go to view->textured(f7); and/or,

b) File->Preferences->main tab-> try video Out and choose other GLX Object

Can't really nobody help me?
I have the Version 6.20.
Should I erase the old Version and should I try the current trial version again?

Yes, you should do that. Then you may register at the forum again.
