hi all,

i was just bored and started to model the Enterprise NCC-1701-D (Picard). due to the fact i worked only 2 hours up to now, i only completed the raw ship hull modell. now i have to craete the details. nevertheless, here the first 2 pics of my work up to now:
(modelled in Wings3d)





i will keep this thread updated every time i add new things to it.

I dont remember exactly the shape of the ship but it looks good

Looking nice. I came across this tutorial a while back on the texturing method they used on the Star Trek ships for the TV/movies. thought you might find it useful

this is an AWESOME tutm, thanks. i already resigned to the texturing job, i did not know how to do it. but you showed me the light at the end of the tunnel. thanks!

the model is now free for download, i didn't alter much though, but it's FREE and hey, there are a lot of bad enterprise models at turbosquid which cost 50$ up to 200...
texture is what i am working on, but it's still troubling me... maybe i will distribute the textured model for a small amount of cahs, who knows.
