@ Frank G.:

You are not absolutely right:

Humans are different. You are right from the view of a european standard of the artists. But don't take that for the whole truth.

When I read Tintin, I always thought that Hergé draw the persons wrong, but when I looked closer at people in real life, I saw there are a lot persons with less long legs!

Look at their proportions for instance:

The model itself looks nice TheStonerunner !!
Some muscles, realistics shapes, skin and it will be a great humain model ^^
Well I think, if you did tried to model your friend, I think it's quite possible/realistic for him to have such long upper
body

Cheers

Thank you for all the input. :-) The "long dong silver" look is intentional. He WILL be wearing a banana hammock (it's a continuation of a long-running joke in my dorm).

The upper body is definitely too long. I see that now, especially with comparison. The problem is that I don't have all of the reference pictures any more, so I couldn't actually see below my friend's shins. So, I used a 3d.sk model for the rest. Apparently I gave him quite a leg length.

I'll change the body, but I'm keeping thie large area. It's an Unreal character, and I think that will be a good tactic to psyche out my opponents. lol
