Hi there, just to show that I am still alive: Here is a model of the Lamborghini Murcielago (work in progress). This will be the first model of a collection of models and levels for race games, which will be available for free on my website soon. I still have to built the interior and the windscreen. The Lamborghini will be available soon. More car models and levels will follow. larger image larger image Hope you like it Cheers Rincewind

How many times have I told you I love you? If none, then I love you. This looks really nice! However... I belive the headlight could look better, possibly by not just putting it as a skin.
Jimmy died, today, he blew his brains out into the bay, in the state of mind, its my own private suicide.
A stitch in time saves nine... what the hell does that mean?!?

Thanks Towelie. you're being too kind as always - sounds like you recently listened to Rod Stewart's "Have I told you lately that I love you?"
You're perfectly right concerning the headlights.. my wife said just the same :-) I actually refrained from modeling the headlights due to a lack of time and the complex shape. My workload keeps me from getting more into this stuff. Anyway, I am pretty happy that I managed to get away from box modelling and into vertex modeling.
I am also teaching my son how to work with Gamestudio. He built his first tire recently so he will hopefully come in handy soon.
I actually had to face the fact that I won't be able to finish my game project in the near future due to a lack of time, apart from that, I am a complete idiot when it comes to scripting. Therefore, I will pick up a topic once a year and provide models and some small playable simple games.

Yes, I know and adore your project, which has inspired me to start building a cars collection. The lamborghini will have a completely detailed interior, including all dashboard elements, the speakers in the doors, the safety belts and everything else. I am working on these details at the moment.
Spiesser Familienkombi? OK.. I know what you mean. If I can find some detailed reference pics, I'll try to build one.

Thanks for the kind word Frazz...
I've seen the Murcielago with a roof also.. but I got wiremesh images as reference for the topless version, so I decided to do it that way. Upcoming car models will also have roofs.
I think, Turbosquid is quite useful here, as some of the models presented there also offer wiremesh reference pics.
I expect this model to be available for download in two or three weeks
Cheers Rince
