Also I still cant figure out how to make the walls and ground solid so I dont pass through them, perhaps that is a feature available only on hte Full program, NOT the Trial Version.
im using trial.
To insert behaviors, it took me about 15 minutes to figure out where everything was, Go to File|Project Manager|Add
But before you do that you need a main script to do that go to File|Map Properties| and you will see a label that says script, click on the middle button next to it.

YAY a GameMaker user, Ello brother To make an EXE you cant use trial. You need one of the payed for versions. Also its not anymore disorganized then any other 3D program. Can anyone make sense of the instructions i gave? if so then you just need to spend some time working with the program. if not then im bad at giving advice ok i read over my original post about the behavior thing. I told you how to insert scripts into the game. After you add the scripts you right click on a model or map entity and click on properties(or behavior) and add the script. Hope that helps

Here is my "dream" Interface where I can easily find all I need! (Of course its a quick thing I threw together and it doesn't cover everything, but at least its logical and its sense flows easily for anyone to use without twisting their brain inside out ans sideways andf going on a puzzling treasure hunt to try to get their maps to work!) Pardon me for suggesting that your user interface is not easy, but I am trying many different 3D engines to see if any will work to make my game. I understand if you get mad when I say I want the Game interface to be more like the 2D one I use to make make my 2 D game. Unfortunately my Trial period is "up" with thisd game engine thingy and I NEVER got it to work. Ok on to Realm Crafter, cyas I hope ya get more organized in the future....but you probly wont....

you just have to press file/publish.
Wait, there isn't a "Make My Game Now" button?

I did that and creates a folder with all the game files and the stuff. But I cannot find an exe file to execute the game.
