hi:
We know “FLARE” has been canceled in LITE-C,
but the particle effect seems ugly without "FLARE",could you tell me whether there are any methods in LITE-C which can substitute the 'FLARE'.

In fact FLARE was not cancelled in lite-C but already in A5 ages ago. It was an old A4 function that no one should use anymore because it used a 4 bit alpha channel which looked very bad. Since A5 we're having 8 bit alpha channels and you can use all paint programs for alpha channel images. Welcome to 21st century smile.

Try p.flags |= BRIGHT;

or

set(p,BRIGHT);

where p is the particle pointer.


I like good 'views' because they have no 'strings' attached..
