I am new to gamestudio. I have the a7 pro. I use maya and max to create my models and photoshop to make my textures. I import them into the wed via the 2010 fbx import plugin. I have several models ready to go and want to begin creating my level. I am looking for step by step information on how to go about this. Do I creat my entire map in wed and then script the map? Do I have to script each individual piece in the sed? If so how do I know what coordinated to give each piece so that everything lines up porperly? I have read alot about this and am still very lost. Any help regarding putting together a very basic level in which I can actually walk around in first person view will be greatly appreciated.

This depends on your gamestudio version, as the tools are updated frequently.
Please open WED, click Help, then About WED and post the information.

Why have you buyed PRO if you are knowing nearly nothing about the software?

Please post your Gamestudio version number when asking such questions, the 2010 FBX plugin is very new, so people wonder what version your are using. AFAIK the 2010 FBX plugin is only in A8, not in A7.

Normally you can create a basic level just as described in the game design tutorial, and then you can automatically fly through it with a camera in first person mode.

But when you rather want to walk like a player in a FPS, with gravity and so on, you need to write a walking script.
