Hi

Is there any way use the Chart Viewer to view the logged results of an old backtest without having to re-run the whole test and click the [Result] button?

If not, is there some way I could code this up?

Apologies if I'm missing anything obvious....

The equity curve of the old backtest is stored in a csv file, I think with a small script that loads the equity at any bar you can plot that curve again.

Thanks - but what I'm really looking for is the ability to debug the trades on the chart.

I find that a very helpful exercise when trying to develop filters.

The trades are saved to testrades.csv. You can load it in a dataset, then fill a TRADE struct with any record and enter it with the enterTrade() function. That should work, but that script would be a bit bigger, and AFAIK no one has written such a script yet.

Thanks - I'll give it a go.

Perhaps you could consider the ability to save and replay results as a feature?

For slower tests, this would be useful, I think.
