I hope you can smash the glass in the cabinet where the plates are behind. Looks quite good BTW.

Because it's fun

I remember Duke3D and Blood...
When I started playing I broke everything that could get broke. It was so much fun.
And no, I'm not behaving like that in real life.

It is true.. breaking stuff in games is fun... In resident evil4, I break everything I can, from crates to glass windows to get to stuff on the other side :P

Here is some screenshots with Matt's softshadows shader and Ello's noise shader running. I darkened the d3d fog and made the layered fog a bit brighter in these screenshots.

Edit: I took these screenies out while I stil had time. You can look at newer Screenshots of these effects in a post by Fuxer later in Thread.

Looks really good. It might be just me, but i feel there is a little bit too much noise. Just my opinion though. Everything else looks great.

Yeah, that probably is too much noise. When Fuxer gets a hold of it I am sure it will change drastically. He's kind of picky. Fuxer worries about asthetics, I worry about FPS (really worry, heh, how much more neat stuff we can add in here and keep it running smoothly).
