Spire AI System,

I am working on an upcoming Shooter AI System.
The XSpire AI is especially designed for fast, team-based Shooters like Unreal-Tournament
or Quake 3 Arena. But it can easily reconfigured to bring fierce enemies into life in
classical Singleplayer FPS Missions.

It will feature:
-different gametypes (Capture the Flag, Domination, Assault etc...)
-Different, adjustable Bot-Skill-levels
-configurable Weapons and Upgrades.
-Node-path editor for BOT-Ai
-Fast and challenging Bots
-Implementation for classical Singleplayer Missions
-Readymade implementation, just create your level,
configure the weapons, and edits the BOT-NODES
to have a running FPS Shooter.

Here is an early version of the AI, to demonstrate how it works.
There are still a lot of things missing, and is not focused on nice GFX,
as it should mainly show how
the AI behaves in an running enviorment.

There is no spefific release date yet,
it maily depends on the amount of content to be implemented into the AI.

Please report, If have have beaten the blue Team in "harder" or "hard" mode,
(+ your score)
and how it works and feels overall.

Nice game Damocles
You really did a great job, as almost everyone know by now,
on AI.
I have tested the game and the bots are a great challenge.

The movement of the bots is like almost perfect, this is by
why out the best AI I have ever seen.

EDIT: I don't know if you already knew but I found a little
bug.When I shoot rapedly on the enemy, he freezes and can be easly killed. Maybe you already noticed and you are fixing the problem right
now because it's just and test version but I just wanted to let you know Damocles.

Thanks for the comments,
In the both easy modes, the enemy might run out of ammo, but
forget to get some more.

Oke Damocles, the freezing is mostly when
the enemy is on easy mode but as you said,
it is still a game in progress

The AI in the hard modes is really nice, but it seems that there are heavy problems with the lower steps. On the lowest, the bots stop randomly and have problems with the movement, but however, very nice work.

I know the reason for the stopping bots,
The bot is forced into attackmode (he can only shoot while standing
in the easy mode), and cant get out of it,
even if ammo runs out, leaving him pretty defenseless...

will be fixed.

But take this as a shooting practise, for really unexperienced players....

Looks Nice...
I was just curious will this be a totally closed system?
As In will I be able to modify code if necessary?

Or better Yet Will it Be a A6 only AI System?
That would be mainly the only reason I would want
a Open Source system -- So I could port it to A5

All the AI's sudenly poping up it would be nice
to have one for A5.
Thats really the only Major thing I need for
my Project that A5 lacks

But Anyway looking Good....
