@maybenew und alle anderen Spieleentwickler:

Ich habe hier gelesen "I just played your game and one time my pc crashed".

Also: seid nett zu eurer Grafikkarte. Warum soll sie sich so anstrengen und mit 120 FPS laufen, wenn doch 60 FPS vollkommen ausreichen, damit ein Spiel flüssig läuft.

Grüße,
Thomas

sorry for spamming this thread. But my friend was right. You have no change to bring an opened game back to store.
I am not angry to have payed 15 bugs for a 3DGS titel, but I hate to pay for nothing.
AND my friend reproduced the crash. But he don´t think that this is a cause of overheating. Maybe Maybenew has a bad code in particle functions like division with zero ore simply using zero for emitting paritcles?

HE SHOULD INFORM ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS OF AMAZON CDV OKAYSOFT AND ALL OTHER SELLERS ABOUT A UNPLAYABLE VERSION OF HIS GAME AND THE PROMISE TO MAKE A PATCH.

edit... over the phone... my friend did not reproduce the crash but he think that bad code could produce the error. And he thinks too that the game is to hard to play. And you get insane of all the popping trees and stones. He think this is the biggest crap he ever saw. I agree with him.

@joseph_00: Keep ontopic and don't flame and spam. Do your 'personal war' via P.M ...just a warning.

@ello
I think I wrote only the truth. Buy the game and tell me what you think.
So I have no problem with lawyers

@ oliver
I don´t want to spam but I am very angry about this product

I don't mean to start a flame war here, and I don't want anybody to get angry, but Joseph... the above is an example of the truth you just don't say to other people. You have a right to get angry, but ultimately the decision to buy it was yours - nobody forced you into this.

Why don't you take this as a learning experience. Now at least you know exactly what a customer does or does not want. Now that you know what makes a game undesirable, you can avoid it. As a game developer, this is valuable info - in my opinion worth 15 bucks!

Maybenew, I haven't played your game, but you can take this as a learning experience yourself. Don't take it as a failure.

I still regret that you do not find our product pleasing. But as vartan_s said, nobody forced you into buying our product. If the game does not run properly (whatever your system specifications are) turn off details and try again if you still got problems contact our support, describe your problems in detail and we will try to help you.

The popping plants are a consequence of a little mistype in a shader that crashed alpha fading, which will be fixed in the upcoming patch we will release within the next few days.

Also I would like to ask you to stop discrediting our product in the way you do.

Anyone experiencing the same problems as listed please wait for the patch or contact our support.

you always write in the form "our product" "write us" "our support".
I asked myself if you are a great company why do you have no betatesters?
"a little mistype in a shader" means that the player gets totally mad, crossing your landscape. Why do YOUR company not fix this littel mistype before going to the stores? This little mistype is such a great error, like crossing borders when fleeing from the enemy or the absolut very very bad sound (how many sound effects did your company use? One for driving, one for shooting and one for the music?).

If I would lead a COMPANY, I would really think about fireing my team members.
If I would ever make a "product", I would like to know the communities voice about my product before I go to a publisher.

Why don't you take this as a learning experience. Now at least you know exactly what a customer does or does not want. Now that you know what makes a game undesirable, you can avoid it. As a game developer, this is valuable info - in my opinion worth 15 bucks!

Yes, I absolutely agree with it.
