Hello Gamestudio community,
after working some years with gamestudio i finally managed to finish some work, worth to be presented.
Its a learning application for a Tai Chi academy from my region which we had to build for our studies of Virtual Design at the Fachhochschule Kaiserslautern. While most other groups decided to use Videos to complete the task, our group tried the realtime-engine way.
The Tai Chi teacher was captured with optical motioncapturing to get the best results.
After that we used ZBrush and Maya for sculpting the character and Motionbuilder for cleaning the bonesanimation. The Cloth simulation was also done in Maya.
Then we transferred the 15 minutes long animation to vertex animations in 21 seperate MDL files for Gamestudio. We had to do that becouse the very high poly character consumed too much memory to take the whole vertexanimation at once.
But the buffering doesnt take very long and works pretty well(clearing the ram with level_free() brought up some problems with shaders but ent_fixnormals() fixed that:) ).
The temple and environment were built in 3ds Max and most shaders (außer dem godrayshader, dafür dickes danke an Hummel
) were written by my own.
There is still some work left to do like adjusting the sunlight and adding some lights behind the character. The small lampions on each side are also meant to be glowing but becouse of time pressure we decided to do that later.
Greetings from my group and me

special thanks to Slin from slindev.com and the whole Gamestudio Shader Community!:)
some pictures of the "puremode" (no environment, just teacher in white space) will follow.
Edit: forgot to mention the stereoscopic mode. If you've got red-cyan glasses at home you can see some pictures in 3d
