Meteor Mess ( RELEASED )

As the name says: a remake of the mother of all adventures Maniac Mansion in 3D, with Ankh / Jack Keane like graphics.
We made this game to learn how 3D Gamestudio works and to use this knowledge for our first own project.

The game is free and can be downloaded here : https://meteormess.de/

There is also a Facebook and a Twitter page:

Thanks ... that's good to hear and it's one of those things that still lets us keep on working hard on MM3D. When we released the first public version for the AUM retro contest many things were just place holders. In meantime we replaced many things and improved a lot.

Keep up the emotional parts in a very high priority. When the fearless boys went inside a such old house like in resident evil you can push up the suspense with some wind sounds or thunder in a far distance, maybe a lonesome wolf is howling, some flickering lights, maybe the furniture should not look so clean?
In my opinion the emotional is the main thrilling part of the whole scene.
Is it possible to spend the characters some more animations?
The boy should react when the windows break (maybe he looks very irritated in the two directions) and he should take a few steps back when the chandelier comes down.
Anyway, I like the atmosphere of the shown video very much.

The characters are still placeholders and will be replaced completely. If we could also add some emotional animations will be depending on how much time the characters will cost us at all.

Don't forget that the alpha version a nearly one year old. The current version isn't comparable anymore.

MM3D has finally been migrated to A8pro.
The few physic routines we use have been moved to PhysX.

We wish you all a happy new year ... hope you all had a safe and happy New Year's Eve.

After finally migrating MM3D from A7 to A8 (just in time in the last year), the whole team works hard to release the game in this brand new year.
