PreVa's Free now, and we're not dead...
We, MangaPage, have released our first game PreVa (originally released June 6th, 2008) for free. And for those who thought we were dead...we're not, we've started development on a second PreVa game. Good luck on your next game... I just downloaded Preva and I have to say that you did a pretty good job with the A6 engine... I liked the glass part of the cockpit...And the indoor textures were great... Im sure after three years of experience since then will make Preva 2 really good...

Sorry jumpman, our new server has been hiccuping a lot, but things should get worked out soon. Also you can get the game from GamersHell.com: http://www.gamershell.com/download_69344.shtmlAs for our engine of choice, lostclimate is right, we no longer plan to develop on the 3D Gamestudio engine. But I'd like to personally thank you guys for helping us when we did. You guys made working on games easier, and 3D Gamestudio is a good engine to start learning on. As for the second game, PreVa EX, we don't have full updates at the moment. If you are at all interested in the next PreVa I recommend joining up to our site because all updates for it will be posted there. We'll be doing developer videos as we stated in our launch video, which will be posted up on Youtube and our new site. We plan to have this one out for the community to help us develop it to be way better than the first game. We'll probably also be looking for beta testers early in development. We also plan to have an alpha version up when we move to that stage to download for free on our website.

well...to be honest, I think Gamestudio is good to LEARN on. I've discovered when doing too much real full game stuff with it, the engine kinda slows down a lot. Anyway though, we're working with Torque also because it's multiplayer functions better, I mean the whole thing is multiplayer oriented.
We are doing game development as our main job yes, but we do have separate jobs.

Quick update, We released a new video with info on PreVa EX. We plan to do these videos as we update PreVa and keep people up-to-date on what happens with PreVa, and we also want this to help others learn more things in game development. I'm having problems embedding the video. Here's a link. Also, we have made the original PreVa Tech Demo available again. It can be downloaded here. The original post on our website
