Call Of Death

Watch out!

Because there's a zombie invasion, and someone is pretty pissed off about that. It's Dirty Dick Johnson, and we are proud to show you his new game named "Call of Death: Chapter one". It's a complete indy production, we are currently looking for publisher and are evaluating online distribution platforms.

YOUR MISSION:
You are Dirty Dick Johnson, a guy who doesn't care about anything but girls'n booze. But since the Pussy Palace, Big City's nr. 1 adress for first class adult dancing entertainment couldn’t open because of the zombie invasion, you'll have to make your way out into the city to bring back all the lost strippers. There might be some zombies in your way...

GAME FACTS:
* A fast paced first person SHOTER with a lot of action, hot babes and really black humor
* Easy accessable arcade gameplay, cinematic kill scenes and countless gallons of zombie blood to be shed
* Weapon shop with 12 weapons and a lot of additional items to be purchased
* 5 levels / 3 versions to play each map / 3 mini games to be revealed throughout the game
* 1st of 3 planned chapters

Maybe that´s the reason that you´re not self employed anymore?

For one, (IIRC, don't hold me accountable to this) in Germany you can't sell Products as a self-employed individual, only services. Of course you can always start a company, but that brings more taxes and more legal hassles. And without a publisher you would have to set up a (reliable) online store or even deliver all the physical copies to the stores yourself.

well i dont think this would be sellable at physical stores. i think it would have to be self published digitally because of the content.

Steam wont publish a trashy Duke Nukem Indie Ripoff(/Parody or whatever) in the same time they are publishing the new and long awaited Duke Nukem by a developer team worth millions. OH SNAP, WHAT A BIG SURPRISE.

Another point is that the original Duke even got very bad ratings. Some American magazines gave 3/10 points. A French magazine gave 40/100. There are many subjective ratings because of false expectations and because many political correct thinking people dont get the humour and feel personally insulted.

But technically this is a good game with lots of gameplay mechanics built in. And now consider the ratings of a similar but smaller indie game.

The shooter market is a strange one. They compare everything with 100 Mio bucks productions like CoD, GTA IV, Crysis 2 or Battlefield 3.

well we all know that because once you played a great shooter, its hard to play less thats all .. ahm so why cant he have someone else in another country handle sales and he deals a percentage to them, surely there are some decent people out there, all your teammates are from germany ?
