HorusIDE
Finally... the first public version of Horus is available: http://horuside.recursivebytes.com Follow the instructions on the download-site to setup Horus for Lite-C-Development. Please test the application and report any bugs. If you like Horus you can translate the UI into your native language. Just copy HorusIDE/lang/en.lng and change the definition and meta-data. if you do so, it would be nice if you send me a copy of your translation. Notice for SSD-Users: Horus has a integrated file loss protection (it saves every open file every 30 seconds in a temp-dir). in the configuration-window you can disable or adjust this feature in order to reduce unnecessary write operations. For more information (and discussions about future versions), i want to refer to the development-thread. Have a nice weekend

The green line-highlighting makes the text almost unreadable. the color of the line highlight can be changed in the configuration (Extras > Options > Editor > Syntax Highlighting). will there be a feature to customize theme-colors in a later version? Yes, but not in the near future. features like code refactoring, solution-explorer, project/asset-management and debugging go first. But changing the code highlighting is already possible: Download the definitions, modify them (change colors or completely rewrite the syntax highlighting) and put them in the program-folder in %%HORUS_PATH%%/xshd/ (the folder doesn´t exist, you have to create it manually). If Horus finds a Syntax-Definition in this folder, it will use it instead of the built-in version.

Nothing important but I just wanted to point out, that even though I have Horus in english I get some german messages. For example, when using the replace text option, after clicking replace all I get a german confirmation message. I assume it is just a confiration message like "Are you sure you want to replace all the text?" so I always click yes. It is nothing major, but I just wanted to point that out incase you didnt notice this
