HorusIDE

Finally...

the first public version of Horus is available:

http://horuside.recursivebytes.com

Follow the instructions on the download-site to setup Horus for Lite-C-Development.
Please test the application and report any bugs.

If you like Horus you can translate the UI into your native language. Just copy HorusIDE/lang/en.lng and change the definition and meta-data. if you do so, it would be nice if you send me a copy of your translation.

Notice for SSD-Users:
Horus has a integrated file loss protection (it saves every open file every 30 seconds in a temp-dir). in the configuration-window you can disable or adjust this feature in order to reduce unnecessary write operations.

For more information (and discussions about future versions), i want to refer to the development-thread.

Have a nice weekend laugh

Oh yes! It would be great if it had the "indent all" (ctrl+alt+a) option like in sed.

No, I don't think so. It's also not listed in my roadmap.

But would have been a feature (if suggested or if I thought on it myself) at some point. 3.0 was feature complete and basically stable, 3.1 and 3.2 had as only points integration of SVN and MantisBT

I really would love to see more of this project. One of my concepts that I wanted to do is to use a page on my website as a an interactive front game entry point wherein of course every had the game engine loaded on their own machines. I am thinking more like chat and other exchanges could be served via the internet server code embedded while there is game play. It is somewhat similar to chatting inside a game but not using the game engine to be the chat server. I have been pondering for some 30 years. Java was too slow. But Java is an engine: Acknet.exe is an engine. The battle between MS, Apple and Linux seemed to be a hurdle. But given that MS has won the PC game realms, it seems that it is viably justified to stick with Acknex. I have dabbled since v.5 but never put all my attention to it. I was waiting, and the wait has been long. I am getting interested in again. My website crashed so a few decades of work needs redone anyway. I hope there is a bit of interest in this project, maybe even Zoro coders use it?
