If you mean by russian scientist the scientist in LAB A, then I have the same problem. I tell him to lead the way and when he gets to the stairs, someone (the scientist?) screams and the game crashes. And the game is all jerky on my computer: Athlon XP 2100+, 512mb ram, Radeon 9600 Pro (256mb). Still too low specs?
