I don't want to influence you at all
I repeat it was only one example, another very known engine is Ogre3D
it has more things than Irrlicht (lot of materials more and texturing functions) ,
prooved commercial games made with it and also easy to program (is juts that the compiler/environment ask a bit more things to do to install them)

Another as easy as Blitz3D SDK and as simple commands as it is
TrueVision3D , but i don't know it license allows people seeling games with
a tool that you sell ?


I repeat i don't want ot influence you at all , just ask to some open mind people (like Frank_G and some others ...)
what they think , and see if the engine allow you to make a product that people
will use to sell games ?


Just take some days to try some simple tutorials of some engines and
see if it is ok
