i just run it on my radeon 9600 and yes, it's still smooth and nice to look at. however, i encountered problems with such old cards, the app changed my desktop res for example.

the dynamic lighting demo on such cards is a nighmare. 2 lights result in 18 fps, with more lights, you can barely move your mosue due to the low fps. frank, please try it, in case it's just my laptop.
