Wouldn't it been enough to just edit Frank's post and delete that "big poster"?
Furthermore you could have PMed Frank and asked him to remove it as it seems to be against the rules.

I'm no mod, in fact I'm quite a nobody here but maybe you should not overhast such decisions.
