What else have these scientists done? Oh wait...

- research in advanced medicine
- computer technology (without them, I doubt this conversation would be going on right now..)
- Biology research (how humans and plants work, etc).

There is a huge list....
And - it was a good think we (humans) learned about atomic research, for nuclear power plants, etc..
