I don't what's wrong with me but i can't send string to a server... laugh

How to send string from client to server, what function should i use. Please help...

if(connection == 2){
str_cat(plNames1, ", ");
str_cat(plNames1, player_name);
send_string(plNames1);
}

i'm using this now, but i tried alot of "methods"
