Of course not. Your brain only continued to work for a little longer because you obviously did not die yet. When it comes to experiencing live, you're not dead until the oxygen in your brain cells are depleted.

By the way, when it comes to near-dead experiences, the time you've spent in any random dream is relative to the real time, in other words you won't really notice a difference between dreaming for about 5 minutes or 6 months. This is often why people consider it to be a different kind of reality, but it's not.

Just ask people that were able to wake from a comatose state. They will tell you all kinds of stories. The brain's very good at making us believe all kinds of things are still going on, some of it might have truly happened, most of it not. It's actually a powerful survival mechanism.

Without any motivation to live, most people will actually die relatively soon.
