dracula, not really. Unity is definatly great, but GameStudio has also several great sides just no one want to see. And as far as I know, shader support is a unity pro feature, only. The great thing about GameStudio is that programming wise there already is a function for everything and if not, you can easily add it yourself. I didn´t yet got to know a simimlar good designed engine which feels as flexible and free as A7 does. Of course the engine can still improve, but it would be boring if it couldn´t and I am sure that unity can also improve some things.
Unity is definatly the better choice for artists but probably not for coders.
