We probably could develop something that visually looks better than WoW. If we spend 6 years on it, invest large amounts of money and quit our jobs. And then we wouldn't even have any of the movement and interaction code yet.
No MMO please. People have even voted against ANY type of multiplayer. I's like us to concentrate more on style and gameplay.
