I´m pretty happy with the result since the focus lies on the colossus and the almost white parts give you the possibility to place your desktop icons there without hiding the image´s awesomeness.
First I invested a lot time in adding dark fades to the left and right borders which fit the structure of the pic but when I placed it on the desktop I recognized that it frames the scene and therefore destroys this 'wide' atmosphere.
Also this version is much more dynamic thx to the motion blur and has light shafts.
