he gets massive amounts of pr at the moment. it gets featured everywhere (slashdot, arstechnica,...). the paypal story sucks.

do you think a game like that could be done with gamestudio with some tricks? there would be entity overload. it's written in java and to me it doesn't look like it uses opengl but a software renderer.
