In 3D Coat you can also import the Low poly model in the
Voxel room and start sculpting !

I already sculpted low poly models in BLender after subdivision to bake the normal map on the low poly model
some years ago when sculpting appeared in Blender.

Even on 2.5 sculpting is too much slow and it's hard to
compete with 3D coat and all it's functionnalities of sculpting(brushes, hide and delete voxels, layers, voxel tree etc ...)

The big advantage Blender it's FREE and Evolving constantly.
