Well, why I am so far away of the rest (relatively seen): Once upon a time, we decided to cross the ocean. And there I settled down and build the house that's there now. And then we (or at least I) figured that the further we go the more memory we consume. But I was already there, so that was a bit of a bug.
Why I am so far for ingame reasons: yay long railroad trips! Sort of the same reason as why we have a huge biocircle hovering in the landscape now.
