PSSM shadows seem to be A8 only, I'm still using A7 and don't have plans to upgrade anytime soon. But I'll use stencil LOD to increase shadow rendering speed in the next version.

Oh and I'll also add gas barrels that leak gas which slows down monsters and players who get in their range.

I'm also thinking about aligning the crates to a fixed grit. With that, I can use pathfinding for enemys and let the players build mazes and small passages where the monsters gather. That would probably include creating a "target" which the monsters try to destroy. the round would be lost immediately of this happens. A bit like tower defense.. Still, there would be different monster AIs, some would still go for the players or for crates instead of the target.

Would you prefer that kind of game to the current?
