EDIT: I just realized how you confused yourself. I used a format YYYY/MM/DD. There is no format YYYY/DD/MM (as far as I know). That's why I chose that format to use everywhere, I thought this was obvious.

Under big endian forms, this date format I've been using is listed at the top, AND it is an international standard. You lose.
