I will not take account of every remark of each people if i want to finish it :), but i'll take some until i do the retopology work !
(I think colors, specular will remove the clay look also).
In fact in 3D coat you can retopology on top of character to make new things or peices of armor in this cases than subdivide and sculpt if needed !
Perhaps some armor more in that ways for Torso ?
