There´s an ambitious project called "DR Multiplayer" by alibaba in the project forum. Maybe you could help him out with level design or some resources from Sunset Down.
You would have a point, if Nils argument was that he is better and everyone else sucks. Too bad its not.
Problem: He´s talking about a hobby project and not about a game made by professionals. That´s something different. Of course he`s maybe right compared to professional games made by Crytek or maybe Deck13, but those games are not made by 18yo people in their free time.
