Hehe, that picture includes a pun you can't read.
The red text at the bottom left reads "Rokettomonsutaa" ("Rocket Monsters"), a pun of "Pocket Monsters", the full name of Pokémon (Pokemon is actually just an abbreviation of Pocket Monsters ).
For sake of completeness, the golden character right next to it reads "kin" and means gold, as in Pokémon Gold.
The text in the blue box reads "bikadon" and means "Atomic bomb". The smaller text above is the same, just in Hiragana instead of Katakana.
The blue text at Ash's & Kim Jon Il reads "getto da ze" and is the Japanese version of "gotta catch 'em all".
