The beer culture has a long tradition over here. Every bigger city has its own beer bewerys and beer types. We have more brewerys than any other country in the world. The quality is very high because of the "German purity law". In Bavaria beer is deemed to be staple food. Beer is legal from 14 years on in company of the parents or from 16 years on for everybody.
