You can already split the windows. Window --> New Window. You an also drag all windows by click their tabs, and dragging the tab outsideof the tab area. Afterwards you can add this window anywhere you want to (in the editor). Please let me know if this is what you've asked for

As a general Note: The developing progress will slow down again now a little bit, as my job starts again - but this weekend a new version will be released, which will contain a beta version of the new publishing & some more enhancements. From then on, my effort will just be based on the requests you have
